Be quick to respond to counteroffers – Delays in responding leave space open for another buyer to step in and create a bidding war.

Work with a Loan Officer Early – Sometimes buyers inch up in price during the house hunt and in the course of formulating their offer.  It’s important to keep in touch with your loan officer if the price goes above your previously approved loan amount.
