What kind of home improvement project can you do this summer?  It is Reno that doesn’t involve Demo.  Small changes can go a long way.  Here are a few tips for you this summer.

Create space with ample storage :

Everyone must have some storage space that did not use efficiently.  One simple thing you can do is to install a half sized bun rack in the cabinet, then add multiple cookie sheets either full or empty, and fit on the rack nicely.

A black sink hide stains:

This one may cost a little more to replace, but if you happen to do sink replacement in your kitchen, keep in mind that black sink might sound odd, but it hides all the stains caused by your colorful baking dyes.  Black sink actually blends in very nicely with all kinds of counter top colors and cabinets too.  Did I tell you it is also the trend now a days?

Simple staircase makeover:

Staircase can be an accent to your house, but many dated staircases were build with the orange wood color that could now be discolored and turned into yellowish white.  One way to give it a fresh look is stain it dark brown.  To upgrade it, you can even consider replacing the vertical round wood rods in the middle to either dark brown cast iron or skinner dark brown wood rectangular bars. This can give it a more bold, beautiful black modern look.

Power wash your back patio:

Power-wash your back patio is the lower cost of home improvement you can do to your back patio.  One may think nobody pays attention to their backyard, but we always forget enjoyment for ourselves is just as important as curb appeal.

Add a warm touch to your backyard:

It’s never too much to add a purpose to your back patio.  Consider a propane fire pit that has a modern touch and multi-purpose use for it, it is always great to add some fun to the backyard.
